Our school thrives because of the time, talent, and care that parents, parishioners, and community members give to our students. Whether you can help for an hour or commit to a recurring role, your involvement makes a real difference in the lives of our scholars.
Ways to get involved include:
- Classroom support and read-alongs
- Field trip chaperones
- School fairs (Reading, Science, etc.)
- Jaguar Parent Association events
- Annual Drawdown and other fundraising events
Child Protection Training Requirement
All staff and volunteers who have regular contact with our students are required to complete VIRTUS Child Protection training before volunteering. This training, provided through the Diocese of Jackson's VIRTUS program, helps ensure a safe environment for every child in our care.
To complete your training:
- Visit virtus.org and select "First-Time Registrant."
- Choose the Diocese of Jackson when prompted to select your organization.
- Complete your registration and attend the required "Protecting God's Children" session, or complete the online training modules, depending on what your registration confirms is required.
- Submit any additional background check paperwork as instructed during registration.
Once your training is complete, please notify the school office so we can confirm your compliance status before scheduling you for any volunteer activity involving direct student contact.
