Grades 2nd-6th
The students in grades two through six will be required to read three (3) books from the summer reading list. Students in the grades listed are required to read the bold print title with the asterisk* for that grade. In addition, each student should choose one of the books listed that they have read from their grade group to complete an activity or a project. The activity or project will detail what they have read. It could be a summary report (2 handwritten pages or 1 typed page), poster board, or daily journal/diary. The daily journal/diary would outline day-by-day what was read and liked about the story. The activity or project will be due within the first two weeks of returning to school.
